About Susanna

I qualified in the UK as an RVN in 2006 and already had developed a passion for anaesthesia during my training.  I became one of the first specialised anaesthesia nurses at the Royal Veterinary College in 2007.  During the next 6 years I gained the skills, knowledge and experience to become one of the UKs leading anaesthesia veterinary nurses, holding anaesthesia qualifications from both Europe and America and heading the specialised team of anaesthesia nurses at the RVC.  During this time, I also learned to love teaching, both practically on the clinic floor, and in the classroom.  In 2013 I began Evergreen CPD, providing in-house training for UK veterinary practices before moving to Hong Kong in 2014.  In HK I have been involved with the City U Advanced Diploma for Veterinary Nurses since its beginning, teaching my favourite subjects of anaesthesia, critical care and surgical nursing, I also work for the Jockey Club College developing the Clinical Skills department.  I have furthered my teaching skills by studying for a Masters in Veterinary Education with the Royal Veterinary College.
